Greetings!!
The Alpha Omega Alumni Association hopes this message finds you healthy and well. As some of you may recall, 2022 will mark 125 years since our beloved Fraternity came into existence. To honor and celebrate that milestone, we wanted to make you aware of some of the events that are planned.
The association was formally organized in 2021 and exists with the primary purpose of providing structured, productive alumni support to the actives of the fraternity so that they can be successful in recruiting new members and having positive experiences during their time at Doane University. Within months of the AOAA founding, we hosted the widely acclaimed 2021 Homecoming Social, which had an attendance of 350+. We hope this will stand as a benchmark for the success of our 125th year and beyond!
So, take a look at the below AOAA Sponsored events and mark your calendars accordingly:
Saturday, April 30th
10:00 am. The inauguration for President Roger Hughes, will be held at the Crete campus.
1:00 pm. The 7th Annual Alpha Omega Golf Scramble will be held at the Valley View Golf Course in Fremont, NE. The entry fee for the scramble is $75 per brother and includes green fees, a golf cart, flag prizes, and bacon-wrapped filet mignon dinner afterward. RSVP your attendance so that we can get a count for steaks. Non-golfers are welcome and many will be able to attend both the inauguration and the golf event.

5:00 pm. 125th Anniversary Ceremonial March! Meet at Butler Gymnasium for this once-in-a-lifetime experience with alumni and actives!
6:00 pm. 125th Anniversary Banquet Dinner to be held at 'The 1206' in downtown Crete. RSVPs will be required for this AO only $35/plate event.
Saturday, October 8th *Hotel info will become available at aoalumni.com
10:00 am. Meeting of the Alpha Omega Alumni Association. Location TBD.
12:00 pm. Homecoming Tailgate in Communications parking lot.
1:00 pm. Doane Football game versus Dakota Wesleyan University.
6:00 pm. Homecoming Social at Crete Airport Hangar.
