Receiving the Lifetime Achievement recognition is Dr. Glenn Mitchell!

Dr. Glenn Mitchell was a standout football and track athlete at Doane from 1966-1970. He has spent his career in education mentoring youth as a teacher and administrator. Each year, the Doane Academic Success Center and TRiO program presents the Glenn Mitchell Leadership Award to a Tiger Mentor who embodies the spirit of Dr. Mitchell.


Receiving the Service to the University recognition is Matt Franzen! Matt’s efforts and dedication to his roles in Doane athletics not only grew the football program but inspired and motivated many young players on and off the field.


Receiving the Service to the Fraternity recognition is Matt Heckman! Matt’s dedication, time, and efforts given to the fraternity and the alumni association have been steadfast for many years.


Receiving the Legend Award, Doane’s first Rhodes Scholar and former editor of the Washington State University Press, Henry Grosshans (‘43).


The AO Hall of Fame will be held October 3rd, 2025 at Doane University during Homecoming Weekend.
